Sarah Hall Andrews, 75, executive secretary for the Southeastern Chapter of the Electrical Apparatus Service Association from 1968 to 1974, died on Feb. 28, 1999. She was a resident of Charlotte, N.C. Her husband, the late Carlton A. Andrews Jr., was EASA president for the 1965-66 term.
Mrs. Andrews, born April 15, 1923, in Madison, Va., was a graduate of the Farmville State Teachers College in Virginia and had attended the Pan American School in Richmond, Va. She was executive secretary to the superintendent of the Virginia State Board of Education and had served as a volunteer in the U.S.O.
Active in her church, Mrs. Andrews worked in parish care, contributed to the church newsletter, and frequently volunteered. She enjoyed playing golf and was an avid bridge player.
Mrs. Andrews is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth; daughter, Janet; son, Carlton; three grandchildren; and two brothers.
