suit comes back as business attire for men, The
Electrical Apparatus, Jul 2003
Introducing a revolutionary concept in business attire. The suit.
An advertisement running in newspapers throughout the country by the 500-store Men's Wearhouse apparel company recalls the time a few years ago when jackets and ties were standard dress in offices. The ad goes on to say:
Along came Business Casual. We lost the suit and half of us lost our shirts. Coincidence? Who's to say?
"We celebrate the suit," the ad, not surprisingly, says, adding that a crisp shirt and tie, as well as pressed trousers, reflect favorably on a person's company.
"It's no secret that productivity is tied to how well people dress," the ad states.
