MOTORS & GEARMOTORS

For service in Class I Division 1 Groups C&D, and Class II Division 1 Groups E, F, and G classified (hazardous) areas, the Elektrim Electrimax explosion-proof polyphase motor line offers 60 Hz ratings from 1 to 300 hp; 2, 4, and 6 poles. Features include epoxy finish, double-drilled feet, C-face and D-flange kits, VPI windings, cast-iron frame, and full IPSS protection. Bearings are either double-shielded or regreasable. INTERCONNECTIONS

Steel expansion couplings and bonding jumper assemblies are available from Bridgeport Fittings, Inc., 705 Lordship Blvd., Stratford, Conn. 06615; (203) 377-5944. Couplings (certified to UL File E24001) fit ¾- to 4-inch trade sizes, install as a regular EMT setscrew coupling, and compensate for up to two inches of conduit movement in dry locations. Bonding jumpers (UL File E20412), for ½- to 4-inch sizes, with bronze clamps and copper bonding strips, handle up to 4-inch expansion on EMT as well as creating secure ground for rigid conduit and copper water pipe.
