National Guard, Dec 2001
The Executive Council's company-grade representatives, Capts. Don Mercer (Army Guard) and Kathryn Coffman (Air Guard), are seeking volunteers for various projects.
They are looking for companygrade officers next month to give presentations about NGAUS legislative benefits, demonstrate the association Web sites, and suggest ways the NGAUS can help serve local needs.
In February, volunteers are needed to distribute registration materials and coordinate events for the Guard Muster, a grassroots, fundraising effort for the National Guard Educational Foundation.
Help is also needed to present a promotional video for the 124th NGAUS General Conference in Long Beach, Calif., to encourage greater company-grade officer attendance.

In addition, they would like to initiate a community-service program to help make the Guard's presence better known in local communities.
