National trasportation communication for its protocol (NTCIP) workshops

ITE, in association with AASHTO and the Federal Highway Administration, recently sponsored successful NTCIP workshops in Atlanta, Ga., USA; Phoenix, Ariz., USA; San Francisco, Calif., USA; Hanover, Md., USA; and Williamsburg, Va., USA. Upcoming workshops are being planned for April 3-4, 1999, in St.
Louis and Kansas City, Mo., USA, as well as May 3-4, 1999, in Orlando, Fla., USA. These workshops provide an excellent opportunity for attendees to learn more about the need for standardization in the ITS community and NTCIP For more information, contact Russell W.
