ARUN CHATTERJEE, Ph.D., P.E., is a professor of civil and environmental engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He received a Ph.D. at North Carolina State University. His other work experience includes employment with the North Carolina Department of Transportation, Wilbur Smith Associates and Marquette University. He is an emeritus member of the Transportation Research Board Urban Freight Committee and a fellow of ITE and ASCE.
