JIM KIMBLER, AICP, is chief planner and supervises the Transportation Planning Team responsible for the planning and development of roads, bikeways, public transit and pedestrian systerns within the 110 square miles of the City of Orlando. He retired from the state of Florida after 25 years, where his last position was central Florida director ofplanningfor the Department of Transportation. He earned his M.E.A. from the University of Miami and a B.S. from the University of South Florida ana has completed coursework in the University of Central Florida Public Administration Doctoral Program. He is a member of ITE.
