* In the August issue, a story about industrial teaming misreported the status of a Navy contract for the maintenance and repair of 24 destroyers. Northrop Grumman Ship Systems is a bidder for the contract, which had not been awarded as of early August. Also, the title of a Ship Systems executive, L. Teno Henderson, was misstated. He is vice president of full service operations.

* The party affiliation of U.S. Rep. Susan A. Davis of California was listed incorrectly in the August Navy League News national convention photo page. Davis is a Democrat.

* The July Historical Perspective misstated the effect torpedo damage had on the speed of the Japanese carrier Taiho during the Battle of the Philippine Sea. After being hit by a torpedo from the submarine USS Albacore, the carrier's speed dropped off a mere knot.

* The listing for the Fratkin Hensle Sanders Team at Smith Barney in the Corporate Membership Directory in the August issue was incorrect. The correct company information is:
