San Marcos, Calif.-based Fluid Components International (FCI) received full certification from the Russian Federation to import its precision mass flow meters and mass flow/level/temperature switches into the Russian Federation.

Honeywell was awarded a $7 million contract to supply process and safety controls for Tasnee Petrochemicals' new ethylene plant in Saudi Arabia. Honeywell and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) launched the 2006 fall tour of their award-winning FMA Live! science education program in September at Howard University in Washington, D.C., before continuing the 21-city tour across the U.S. and Canada for nearly 14,000 students in 30 schools.

Following a detailed evaluation of available commercial middleware products, QinetiQ, a defense and security technology company, has chosen RTI Data Distribution Service to provide a real-time data-distribution infrastructure for its test and evaluation systems.

Thermo Electron Corporation, a producer of analytical and process instrumentation, was awarded a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract with Pebble Bed Modular Reactor for the design, manufacture, delivery, installation support, and commissioning of the nuclear instrumentation system, to be built in Koeberg in the Western Cape of South Africa.

Denver-based mobile asset management solutions provider, TrenStar Inc. will manage the entire fleet of kegs for Brasseries Kronenbourg, a French brewer and subsidiary of TrenStar customer, Scottish & Newcastle plc, adding nearly 1.3 million kegs to the more than 4 million TrenStar owns and manages in the U.K.

Tokyo-based Yokogawa Electric Corporation will supply process control systems to Air Liquide Engineering out of Champigny, France, for its air separation units and syngas systems.
