Zurich, Switzerland-based ABB received a $150 million contract from Myllykoski Paper Oy to assume responsibility for maintenance operations at the company's mill in Anjalankoski, Finland.

Emerson Process Management will automate a 1.5-million-tons-per-year hydro-treating unit in a Dalian West Pacific Petrochemical Co. Ltd. refinery in Dalian, China Emerson Process Management completed the installation of advanced automation and controls for a new gantry type loading facility at the Shell Pernis refinery and chemical complex in the Netherlands.

FKI Logistex signed a contract from Schenker AB, an international provider of air, sea freight, and logistics services, for a parcel sorting system at its distribution center in Stockholm, Sweden.

Honeywell's Experion Process Knowledge System will increase mine safety and improve the operating efficiency of mining operations at Datong Coal Mine Group, one of Northern China's largest coal producers. The $2.5 million contract includes design, engineering, commissioning, testing, and maintenance services.

Varkaus, Finland-based Honeywell signed a contract to supply an automation upgrade to Powerflute's paper machine in Kuopio, Finland, to boost the mill's production efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and improve quality management.

Microwave Products Group, composed of Dow-Key Microwave and K&L Microwave, opened a new office in Stockholm, Sweden to enhance the company's ability to serve new and existing customers in Scandinavia.

The North American Operating Division of Schneider Electric launched its Motion Competency Center, headquartered in Plymouth, Mich.
