Technologies Direct is a Quebec-based forestry equipment manufacturer that now offers two series of purpose-built prime movers - the Direct 200 and 300 Series. Both are based on a modular design approach that allows loggers to create a buncher or CTL harvester to fit their specific needs. Aside from the two sizes, loggers can select from six Cummins engines (180 to 320 hp); D5, 6 & 7 under-carriages with tractive efforts to over 90 000 lb; tilting or flat-bottom versions; and feller buncher boom or three harvester styles (telescopic, heel, and monostick). All models feature 34-in of clearance and wide-open/walk-through maintenance access.
