Parker shows hose solutions; Minikrimper

Canadian Forest Industries, Sep/Oct 2003

The MiniKrimp from hydraulic hose specialists Parker Hannifin is a new portable hose assembly system designed for job site repair work when downtime cannot be tolerated. Weighing just 35 lb and measuring less than 16[Symbol Not Transcribed] [straight double quote] high by 7[Symbol Not Transcribed] [straight double quote] wide and 5[Symbol Not Transcribed] [straight double quote] deep, the MiniKrimp delivers factory-style assemblies in seconds. It lifts and carries easily thanks to its small size, and has a self-contained power unit, requiring no electricity or gauges to be set. The unit's Parkalign feature positions the coupling correctly every time, according to Parker, while colour-coded dies prevent mismatching and a unitised die train keeps segments in place. Optional mountings include an upright-bench mount or a side-vice mount.
