Weyerhaeuser sells Grande Cache sawmill

Weyerhaeuser Co. Ltd. announced in late August that it had sold its closed sawmill in Grande Cache, AB, to C&C Wood Products of Quesnel, BC. "Weyerhaeuser is thrilled with the finalization of the deal with C&C Wood Products Ltd. A lot of time and effort has been invested in finding a positive solution for the community of Grande Cache," says Fred Rowson, vice-president Alberta, for Weyerhaeuser.
C&C Wood Products is a value-added company. Details of the sale were not disclosed.
