EDITOR'S NOTE

Religious Education, Spring 2004 by Brelsford, Theodore

As announced just over a year ago, in the Winter 2003 issue, this journal now occasionally produces issues in which accepted papers are published simply for their relevance and timeliness, rather than being gathered around a particular theme. This current issue is one such production. This allows authors a iorum for publication whatever their focus of research within the BeId. It also helps avoid the prospect of delaying the publication of accepted papers in order to place them in an appropriately theined issue. I am pleased to say that papers are currently being published within 12 months of their acceptance (many with notably less lag time). And I am pleased to be able to put forth the following set of papers presenting diverse research concerns rooted in diverse contexts and perspectives.
