Jen Tang is Professor of Management in the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University. He received his B.S. degree from Soochow University, Taipei (1973), and Ph.D. from Bowling Green State University, Ohio (1981). His current research interest includes quantitative methods in general, and quality management/control and reliability in particular.
Before he joined the Krannert Graduate School of Management in 1991, he was Member of Technical Staff at Bell Communications Research (1984-1991) and an assistant professor at Marquette University (19811984). He is currently a member of the Editorial Board for the IIE Transactions. Dr. Tang published papers in Management Science, Naval Research Logistics, Journal of Multi-Criteria Decision Making, Journal of American Statistical Association, IIE Transactions, Journal of Quality Technology, Manufacturing and Service Operations Management, and others.
