NationsBank's customers can bank online

Northwestern Financial Review, Sep 19, 1998

NationsBank has made its online banking service available to its Iowa customers. Through NationsBank Online, customers can transfer funds between accounts, check account balances, see up to 45 days of posted transactions in their accounts, reorder checks, request copies of statements, and send messages to the bank.

Customers also can download their transactions to a personal financial management program of their choice, such as Quicken or Microsoft Money.

"Banking is no longer about bringing the customer to the bank," said Steven F. Justice, president of NationsBank Iowa. "It's about bringing the bank to our customers. We are setting a precedent in the industry by offering our customers a secure, online banking service that truly makes banking easier and more convenient."

Customers can access NationsBank Online by visiting the NationsBank web site at www.nationsbank.com, selecting "Online Financial Services," then clicking on "NationsBank Online." After a quick registration online, customers can begin using the service immediately.
