Glacier completes bank buyout

Kalispell-based Glacier Bancorp Inc. completed its purchase of the $40 million Big Sky Western Bank in Big Sky on Jan. 20.

The deal was completed three months after the acquisition announcement was made. Combined assets of the two banks will be $710 million.

Glacier Bancorp is a publicly traded bank holding company for Glacier Bank, First Security Bank of Missoula, Glacier Bank of Whitefish, Glacier Bank of Eureka, and Valley Bank of Helena.
