Outstanding Women in Banking sought for November honors issue

Northwestern Financial Review, Sep 18, 1999

Northwestern Financial Review is resurrecting its "Outstanding Women in Banking" honor. The Nov. 20 edition will feature at least three outstanding women in banking, and we are seeking your help to find them.

We will feature at least one woman from banks of three asset categories: banks with less than $50 million in assets, banks with $50 million to $250 million in assets, and banks with more than $250 million in assets.

Nominated women can hold any position in the bank, but should have worked in the industry for at least five years. Candidates must work in a bank located in Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin or Illinois.

In order to nominate a candidate, please write a memo to us providing the candidate's name, bank, telephone number, and most importantly, a few sentences about why you believe this person should be recognized as an outstanding woman in banking. Send your nomination to: Northwestern Financial Review at 4948 Washburn Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55410. You may fax your nomination to 612-929-8146. Or email your nomination to Tom_Bengtson@tcilink.com.

You can also submit nominations through our web site at nfrcom.com. The web site includes a list of all women previously honored by Northwestern Financial Review's "Outstanding Women in Banking" feature. You may submit as many nominations as you like; self-nominations are accepted. All nominations must be received by Oct. 15.
