Montana Independent Bankers convene

Approximately 120 bankers attended the annual convention of the Montana Independent Bankers, July 20-21 at The West Coast Hotel in Kalispell. Consultant Cass Bettinger led the line-up of speakers. Thomas Welch of Pioneer Federal Savings & Loan Association in Deer Lodge was elected president of the group. He is the first savings and loan industry executive to be elected to head the MIB.
