Northwestern Financial Review, Nov 15, 2001

First Harrison Bank of Corydon, Ind., has won the 2001 BKD Award for Excellence and Innovation. Cosponsored by the Community Bankers Association of Indiana, the award program recognizes and encourages high-performing CBAI members that ensure a healthy future for their bank and community. The award was presented at CBAI's convention on Sept. 17 at the French Lick Springs Resort.

First Harrison Bank, born from last year's merger of Harrison County Bank and First Federal Bank, received the award for its successful public relations campaign.

"Our community involvement continues to be very hands-on," stated Aaron Smith, First Harrison Bank.
