Minneapolic Fed announces promotions

The Federal Reserve Bank in Minneapolis announced the following personnel changes:
David Fettig has been promoted to vice president of public affairs at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Fettig joined the bank in 1988 and was appointed assistant vice president responsible for public affairs in 2000. Fettig has a bachelor's degree from Rockhurst University, Kansas City, Mo.
Cheryl Venable has been promoted to vice president of FedACH support services, the Federal Reserve System's automated clearing house operation. Venable joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis in 1996 as a management consultant in FedACH. She became a manager in information technology in 1999 and was promoted to assistant vice president of FedACH later that same year. Venable has bachelor's and master's degrees from St. Louis University, St. Louis.
Barbara Pfeffer has been promoted to assistant vice president to Treasury Direct at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Pfeffer began working at the bank in 1979 as an assistant bank examiner. In 2001 she assumed management responsibilities in the banking supervision department. Pfeffer has a bachelor's degree from Bemidji State University, Bemidji, Minn.
