Iowa bank moves into new facility
Northwestern Financial Review, May 15-May 31, 2003
Lincoln Savings Bank, Cedar Falls, Iowa, has moved out of its temporary branch location in Waterloo, Iowa, and into a new permanent building.
"The new facility will allow us to better serve all of our customers in the Cedar Valley," commented Steve Willette, executive vice president and head of the metro market. "We are committed to doing business in the Cedar Valley, and the new location provides us with a solid presence in the market."
Lincoln Savings Bank carefully chose the site of the new building, which sits in Waterloo's south side. "We looked at sites for 12 months," Willette said. "We kept coming back to this particular site. It's proximity to our customers and other locations, as well as a growing area of Waterloo, made it very attractive."
Kirk Gross Company of Waterloo provided building and design services for the new facility.
The branch will house several key metro officers for the bank, including Willette, President and Relationship Manager Kevin Sonnenberg, Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending Bill Fischer, Certified Financial Planner John Englin, and Lincoln Savings Bank's marketing department.
Lincoln Savings Bank is a 100-year-old, $310 million bank.
