Northwestern Financial Review, Aug 1-Aug 14, 2003
Union State Bank of Cincinnati has opened an Evansville, Ill., office that specializes in producing real estate loans with low closing costs.
The office, which has been open for three months, formerly housed Meridian Group Mortgage, said Mike Frierdich, vice president of the Evansville office.
The office will continue to serve former Meridian customers, but it has expanded the kinds of loans it makes. Frierdich said the office will specialize in loans that use real estate as collateral, such as development, group investing, construction, mortgage refinance and home equity loans.
The $1 billion Union Savings Bank has had a business relationship with Meridian Group Mortgages for many years.
