John Deere Community Credit Union of Waterloo, Iowa, has completed its merger with Deer Community Credit Union of Ankeny, creating a $1 billion financial institution. The combined credit union, which is the fifth-largest financial institution in Iowa, has more than 120,000 customers who live or work in 26 counties.
The credit union employs 400 people working at 16 branches, with plans to open two more in the Des Moines area.
