Steve Turkiewicz has joined the Montana Bankers Association as president/CEO. Turkiewicz replaces longtime MBA executive, John Cadby, who retired in mid-2004.
Prior to joining the bankers' association, Turkiewicz was executive vice president of the Montana Automobile Dealers Association. Turkiewicz also has financial services experience; he spent six years as an account executive for D.A. Davidson & Co., a regional investment firm. He also worked as an account executive for Mountain Bell.
Turkiewicz has a Certified Association Executive designation and is past president of the Montana Society of Association Executives. He has a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Montana, Missoula, and a master's degree in public administration from San Diego State University.
