University Bank, St. Paul, Minn., was honored with an American Business Award in the category of "Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program." Nicknamed "The Stevie Awards," more than 100 awards were bestowed on businesses in more than 40 categories. University Bank was one of four finalists in its category and was chosen as a winner for its program geared toward economically-challenged neighborhoods in the Twin Cities.

"Winning this prestigious award has been a wonderful experience," said University Bank President David Reiling. "This honor proves that you can in fact do well by doing good."

The American Business Awards are the first national, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace. The awards ceremony was held June 6 in New York City.
