IN MEMORIAM
Charles M. Johnson Sr., 82, of Chatfield, Minn., died Jan. 15. Johnson was chairman/president of the Root River State Bank in Chatfield and the First State Bank of Fountain, both in Minnesota. Johnson went to work for his father at the First State Bank of Fountain in 1948; he purchased the Root River State Bank in 1966. Johnson was active in the Minnesota Bankers Association.
