TriSense Software and Wausau Financial Systems Form Strategic Alliance
Agreement Brings PaySense Electronic Bill Presentment Solution to Over 700 Banks and Billers
At the TAWPI '98 Conference, TriSense Software Ltd. and Wausau Financial Systems Inc. (WFS) announced the formation of a strategic alliance to provide TriSense Software's electronic bill presentment and payment solution, PaySense, to WFS customers and prospects.
The alliance allows WFS to offer its clients a strategically important new technology and provides TriSense a well-- respected distribution channel for the marketing, sales, installation and support of its Pay-- Sense product.
TriSense, a Minneapolisbased financial systems software company, specifically designed its PaySense solution to allow banks, remittance processors and billers to control all aspects of electronic bill presentment and payment. Pay-- Sense allows banks and remittance-processing companies to own and offer an electronic billing and payment service to their commercial customers, and gives billers the option of implementing electronic billing directly or through their trusted commercial bank or remittance processor.
Wisconsin Fuel and Light to Pilot PaySense Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment Solution
Wausau Financial Systems and TriSense Software Gain First Joint Customer as Internet Bill Delivery Pilot Program Begins
Wausau Financial Systems, Inc. (WFS) and TriSense Software Ltd., strategic partners in the marketing and support of TriSense Software's Pay-- Sense'" electronic bill presentment and payment solution, announced that Wisconsin Fuel and Light Company is the first joint customer to join their Pay-- Sense pilot program. Wisconsin Fuel and Light is a regional utility supplying natural gas services to central and eastern Wisconsin.
With PaySense, customers of Wisconsin Fuel and Light will be able to privately and securely receive and view electronic replicas of their familiar paper bills on their personal computers. Consumers will also be able to control the amount and timing of their electronic payments, easily manage their own payment records, and save the time and expense of making paper payments through the mail.
PaySense Pilot Program Launched
In addition to the cooperative pilot with WFS and Wisconsin Fuel and Light, TriSense is piloting PaySense with a leading Internet service provider in the Midwest. After two years of development and testing, Pay-- Sense software is currently being configured and installed in both pilot companies, with live Internet-delivered bills and payments expected in the fourth quarter.
The PaySense pilot program has a limited number of additional openings in 1998. Banks and remittance processors are preferred for the remaining pilot openings. Interested companies should contact Wausau Financial Systems or TriSense Software.
Wausau Financial Systems and ImageSoft Technologies Extend Partnership
ImageSoft Technologies, a Fiserv solution based in Maitland, FL, and Wausau Financial Systems, of Mosinee, WI, announced a multi-year, multimillion dollar agreement which extends their five-year relationship. The technology exchange between the two companies solidifies their ongoing synergistic association and illustrates that long-term, joint marketing arrangements can be successful.
Under the agreement WFS will continue to market ImageSoft's entire suite of applications for both UNIX and NT based systems, focusing predominantly on the community bank market. These applications include Check Image Statements, Check and Document Archive, and Retrieval/Distribution Software. Further, ImageSoft will promote WFS' POD and remittance processing applications when there are opportunities in the larger financial tier. Wausau Financial Systems, a remittance and item processing solution provider, currently serves over 700 customers worldwide. Wausau has successfully installed systems in many of the nation's leading commercial banks and payment service bureaus. In addition, remittance processing technology has been provided to some of the country's largest billers through direct relationships. This established base has exhibited tremendous interest in the PaySense product through the introduction phase.
