Panini to manufacture new Banctec transport

Panini SpA announced that, under the terms of a new OEM agreement with BancTec, Inc., Panini will manufacture the latest addition to the BancTec ESeries(TM) line of image-enabled document transports, the model E-150, in Panini's new stateof-the-art manufacturing complex in Turin, Italy. Based on the Panini model S1 desktop reader-sorter workstation, the E-150 will include several BancTec patented enhancements, including the Speed-- FIRST(TM)" interface, that are installed at BancTec's manufacturing facility in Irving, TX. BancTec will target the E-150 to low- to mid-volume financial and commercial customers worldwide for a variety of item and small-format document applications.
The Panini S1 Tabletop Reader-Sorter Workstation is a 200 documents per minute (DPM) transport with options for MICR, OCR, and bar code reading; image capture; encoding; endorsing; and up to 20 pockets.
