Correction

New Crisis, The, Jan/Feb 2000

This short note is to correct an article in the Sept./Oct. 1999 issue of Crisis. In the story about Percy Lavon Julian, "DePaul University" is noted twice as Dr. Julian's alma mater and the place to which he returned to do his research. These references are not correct.

We are very proud that Dr. Julian was a 1920 graduate of "DePauw University." He also returned to DePauw after studying in Europe and worked here for several years.
