Scott S. Valentine earned a B.S. in communications at Ohio University in Athens, OH, in 1970. he later received his M.Div. and Th.M. degrees from Capital Bible Seminary in Lanham, MD, in 1985. he joined the Evangelical Theological Society in 1978, and was at that time a member of the independent non-denominational Barcroft Bible Church in Arlington, VA.

At the time of his death in 2003, Scott was living in Washington, D.C. I regret that no further information was learned of Scott Valentine. he was a member of ETS for twenty-five years.
