BILL GLASGOW
DE FOREST, WI
TEAM LOSI TRIPLE-XNT
Bill sent us this nice picture of his Losi Triple-XNT that's decked out with a O.S. 15 engine, Pro-Line tires and a bunch of other go-fast goodies. The great-looking paint job really caught our eyes when we were going through the "Readers' Rides" mail bin. Nice paintwork!
STEVE HUGHES, GALLATIN, TN
TRAXXAS T-MAXX
Resting beneath Pro-Line's cool Jeep CJ8 body is a highly modified T-Maxx. Steve used plenty of time and money to create this awesome ride. It features an O.S. .15 CV-X engine, Associated tuned pipe and shocks, Racers Edge skids and bumpers, RPM bulkhead braces, Novarossi aluminum wheels, Pro-Line tires, an Airtronics M8 and much more. Steve tells us he plans to add even more upgrades.
LING TONG, FREMONT, CA
ASSOCIATED TC3
This truck will look familiar to those who remember the "Transformers" cartoon. Ling painted this Yokomo Euro truck body to replicate the leader of the Autobots: Optimus Prime. A Team Associated TC3 brings the 'bot to life, and it's outfitted with a Futaba 3PK radio, Reedy Ti motor, Novak Cyclone Speedo, a KO digital servo and Acer bearings.
MIKE CALLAHAN
NORTH ARLINGTON, NJ
GS RACING STORM RTR
Take a lesson from Mike: when you've finished your new RC car, take it some place nice and snap a few pictures to send into "Readers' Rides." This GS 1/8-scale features a JR XR-3 radio system, a GS .21 engine and the stock RTR body.
ROY PITCHLYNN
POST FALLS, ID
ASSOCIATED FACTORY TEAM T3
Nothing makes us happier than to see a race truck in its natural habitat. Roy runs this T3 in the Mod division at Monster Hobbies in Hayden. The truck has a Fantom 12X2 motor, a Novak Atom ESC and Pro Match 3300 cells for power. Larry Shull laid down the gorgeous yellow, green and checkered paint scheme.
STEPHEN DIDOMIZIO
DANBURY, CT
TRAXXAS
T-MAXX TRX 2.5
Even after a tough New England winter, Stephen's T-Maxx looks as if it's poised for action. His Traxxas monster features a custom-built, brass-tube chassis, GPM springs, an Airtronics MX-3 radio, RPM skidplates, bumpers and Clawz wheels, Pro-Line tires and a Dodge Power Wagon body. The final additions for his custom, deep-green-metallic paint job were a few xxx-main babe stickers.
DAN WEST, SHELTON, WA
ASSOCIATED FACTORY TEAM RC 10 GT
This is the fourth addition to Dan's RC fleet, and he took the A-main win at his track on its first outing. Dan assembled the FT GT himself; he chose an O.S. .12CV-R for power. We're trying to figure out what he did with the headlight and grill stickers.
