Pull the intake plumbing out of the way and remove the top rear cylinder head bolt. Carefully clean up the bolt threads and those in the block with a nonpetroleum-based cleaner. Apply Three Bond 1215 sealer (Part No. 004403007) or equivalent to the bolt threads, but don't overdo it. Reinstall the bolt and torque it to 14 ft-lb, plus an additional 80deg to 90deg. If you notice other oil seepage from accessory mounting bolts, perform the same procedure to take care of it.

Nissan

Front-end service. Know that on 1989-90 four-wheel-drive Pathfinders built after 4/30/90 and on 4WD pickups built after 6/14/90, the stabilizer bar brackets, bolts and their torque values were changed to improve performance. If you ever find yourself working on an older truck that needs a good amount of front-end work, Nissan says to install the new stabilizer pieces. The part numbers are 56234-88G00 for the right-hand bracket, 56235-88G00 for the left-hand bracket and 08127-0251E for the bolts. Make sure to torque the bolts to 58 to 65 ft-lb.
