MOTOR Magazine was awarded two 2002 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence. The prestigious APEX Awards are given annually for outstanding achievement in print journalism by Communications Concepts, publishers of Writing That Works.
MOTOR Editor and Publisher John Lypen was recognized in the Magazine & Journal Writing category for the July 2001 issue. Managing Editor Paul M. Eckstein also received the APEX Award in editing for "Used Vehicle Evaluations: A Boon to Profits," published in thE September 2001 issue.
