CARQUEST names 2002 Excellence Award Winner

CARQUEST Auto Parts has announced that Dan Ritchie, owner of Express Auto Service in Fredericksburg, Virginia, has been chosen the 2002 CARQUEST Excellence Award winner. The award, which is announced annually in conjunction with the CARQUEST Technician's Advisory Council meeting, is based on such criteria as industry involvement, number of ASE certifications earned, community involvement, training, shop appearance and customer service.

"I am very honored to be named the 2002 Excellence Award winner," said Ritchie, whose facility is a TECH-NET Professional Auto Service location. "It's great what CARQUEST does for our industry and I'm proud to participate on the CARQUEST Technician's Advisory Council."

Express Auto Service prides itself on professionalism, quality work and a friendly atmosphere. It has 28 service bays and 42 employees, 23 of whom are technicians.
