When all is said and done, turning off a MIL may be easy to do; keeping it off is more difficult. The keys to success are a focused customer interview, methodical diagnostic and repair procedures and diligent retesting. You and your customer will benefit from working as allies throughout the repair process. Customer education and careful documentation can help avoid misunderstandings if a customer is about to get MIL-stoned.
