SPX Acquires AutoXray

SPX Corp. announced that its Service Solutions business has acquired AutoXray, Inc., based in Tempe, Arizona. David Kowalski, president of SPX Service Solutions, said, "AutoXray is an innovative supplier of automotive diagnostic test equipment and a great fit with our existing, technology-driven line of vehicle diagnostic equipment.

The addition of AutoXray's patented low-cost scan tool technology further strengthens Service Solutions access to the automotive aftermarket do-it-yourself marketplace, as well as improves our capabilities across the full spectrum of automotive and heavy-duty vehicle test equipment used by the professional technicians that we serve today."
