New Education/Training Initiative From ASA

Motor,  May 2006

The Automotive Service Association (ASA) recently announced a new education and training initiative called KEYS (Keep Educating Yourself and Staff). The association promises that, through a series of regional training events, the program will deliver quality management education and technical training to automotive service professionals.

The three-day events will offer three technical sessions as well as four management seminars, all of which will qualify attendees for credits toward the Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation offered through the Automotive Management Institute (AMI).

The ongoing KEYS program will be delivered at several venues throughout the United States this year. Each will start on a Friday afternoon and wrap up on Sunday. Locations for 2006 include King'of Prussia, PA; Gainesville, FL; Salt Lake City, UT; and Albany, NY.

Shops that are not ASA members also are welcome to participate. For more information, go online to www.asashop.org/keys, or call 800-272-7467 ext. 246.
