Mac Tools' Dream Garage Sweepstakes Winner Feels 'Grand'-40 Times Over

The Mac Tools Mac Card program teamed up with Bristol Motor Speedway and Ray Evernham Motorsports for the first-ever Dream Garage Sweepstakes, in which contestants had to choose the one key that would unlock a Mac Tools Truck. The lucky winner would receive $40,000 worth of Mac Tools products to outfit his "dream garage."

That winner has been named. He's Phillip Hehnlin of St. Louis, MI, who beat out four other semifinalists: Thomas Gordon, Rochester, NY; Arthur Calder, Elberta, AL; Rick Miller, Oak Forest, IL; and Lewis Sullivan, Palestine, TX. All five semifinalists received an all-expensespaid, three-night trip for themselves and a guest to the NASCAR Bristol Night Race in Bristol, TN. Hehnlin made his winning selection during the Sharpie 500 pre-race on Saturday, Aug. 25.

"It got really nerve-wracking when it got down to the last two contestants," Hehnlin said. "My heart was racing. I couldn't move my arms and legs when the key turned and the alarm went off. They gave me a microphone as soon as I won but I was speechless!"

Hehnlin works at Dynamic Manufacturing in St. Louis, MI. He said it was his Mac Tools MB 155 Utility Cart purchase on his Mac Card that got him to the semifinals and ultimately earned him the grand prize.
