A new training initiative aimed at professional service technicians has been announced by Federated Auto Parts. The Federated Profit Improvement Seminar Program, developed in association with Affinia and the Essential Actions Design Group, consists of field training coupled with workbooks and an interactive CD that allows for benchmarking of statistical data and development of profit plans specific to each service provider's business. The program is currently being conducted through test groups, with an expanded roll-out planned for the very near future. Tenneco recently announced the launch of a new Spanish-language website for its Walker brand of replacement exhaust and emissions control products. The new site, located at www.espanol.walkerexhaust.com, provides the same content and user functionality as the brand's English-language website.
Four Seasons will be adding more than 600 new temperature control replacement part SKUs in 2008. The additions, for both domestic and import vehicles, include new and reman compressors, accumulators/ receiver dryers, evaporators, hose assemblies, blower motors and blower motor resistors, condenser/rad fan assemblies, fan clutches, expansion valves plus many other products.
