A successful fundraiser project
What's New, May/Jun 1999
Developed by moms who know baking and the pitfalls of traditional fundraisers, this fundraiser from Doughmakers lets educators concentrate more on educating, and less on fundraising.
"You'll be proud to sell these cookie sheets and pizza pans to your family and friends," said Bette A. LaPlante, President of Doughmakers. "The heavy-- gauge aluminum promotes even heating, eliminates hot spots and won't warp or rust. The pebble pattern surface lets air flow under the cookies for even browning and easier removal. The surface is also embossed so it won't wear off. Both professional bakers and homemakers love Doughmakers pans."
In an article in the December/January '99 issue of Taste of Home Magazine, they say, "After trying Doughmakers rustproof aluminum baking sheets in our test kitchen, we ordered more to use in our Visitor Center kitchen. They brown evenly, and the sheets never need greasing!"
"All of the parents involved in this fundraiser agreed that this was the best fundraiser that they had ever done," says Patti Jones, a parent of a Linton-- Stockton 6th grader. "People buy the pans because they are quality products that last, not because they feel guilty.
So far we have raised $2,644 for our class trip and people have started calling us to place more orders. One student sold 107 pans herself. We are amazed at the success of this fundraiser."
Dr. George W. Lockamy, PTO President of The Village School in Spartanburg, SC, comments, "I can readily say these pans are a great product and an excellent fundraiser, but I especially like the easy clean-up."
With the quality of Doughmakers pans, your next fundraiser is sure to be a success.
