Door-to-door carwash

Group, May/Jun 1999

Planning a Saturday carwash? Rather than waiting for customers to come to them, have kids take their carwash on the road.

Load your church van with teenagers and carwash equipment, including buckets, hoses, sponges, carwash detergent, window cleaner, and a vacuum cleaner. Go door to door in your church neighborhood, and have kids ask people if they'd like to have a free carwash right there in their very own driveway.

Many people will spend time outside watching as the kids work, and kids will have a perfect opportunity to talk about their church, their youth group, and how their faith motivates them to serve others.
