Enter the Matrix, a brand-new video game from Shiny Development, features exclusive footage shot during filming of The Matrix Reloaded sequel. Unlike the rehashed plots of most games tied to movies. Enter the Matrix tells an original story that parallels and intersects with the movie sequel's plot. Players run up walls, slow down time, and use martial arts moves designed by the movie's fight choreographer.
de-duct-ible
Stepped-up home security isn't the only driving force behind duct tape sales. The ubiquitous adhesive tape is emerging as a cool fashion statement among teenagers, and we're not just talking about wallets. According to The Wall Street Journal, hundreds of prom-goers will be showing up this spring in full-length gowns created entirely out of duct tape, which is now available in splashy colors. Last year 500 couples entered "Stuck at the Prom," a national contest sponsored by Henkel Consumer Adhesives. The manufacturer of duct tape gives two $2,500 scholarships to the best-duct-tape-dressed prom couple.
cool 2B carnivorous
A recent Teenage Research Unlimited study reports that one in four teenagers considers vegetarianism "cool." This growing trend, particularly among teenage girls, has prompted the National Cattlemen's Beef Association to launch a Web site, www.Cool-2B-Real, which promotes the "hipness" of meat consumption and urges girls to "Keep It Real" by eating beef three or four times a day. Mary Young, executive director for the NCBA, says the organization is concerned about the "wacky eating behaviors" of girls who adhere to vegetarianism. Evidently the cattlemen have gotten wind of the all-candy diet.
