In the years that Saint Louis University served as the National Clearinghouse for Nursing Diagnosis (1973-1982), money set aside for office space rental was placed in a special scholarship fund. This fund, known as the NANDA Scholarship Fund, assists graduate nursing students enrolled in the school with a portion of their tuition or research expenses.
To be eligible for the award, a student must be accepted into the graduate nursing program at Saint Louis University; be interested in developing or promoting the use of nursing diagnosis; and be willing to conduct research, implement a project, or submit an article related to nursing diagnosis for publication. The amount of the award is $250-$700 per year.
