BLI expands services

Office World News, Oct 1999

HACKENSACK, NJ-In keeping with changes in the office products industry and to better serve the needs of its subscribers, Buyers Laboratory, Inc. has made some significant changes to its test report services on office imaging devices.

In place of BLI's separate Copier Review, Multifunctional Monthly, FAXreporter and Dealer Information Network services, the company is now offering Digital Information Network, a comprehensive test report service that will provide subscribers with 15- to 25-page test reports on all of the office products that BLI evaluates (including full-color copier/printers, digital and analog standalone units, fax machines, and digital/connected multifunctional devices). Subscribers will also get a 16-page monthly newsletter called Digital Imaging Review, and will receive a copy of BLI's Copier, Facsimile, Printer, and Multifunctional Specification Guides, as well as updated specifications throughout the term of their subscriptions.

For the remaining term of their subscriptions, current subscribers to BLI's Copier Review, Multifunctional Monthly, FAXreporter and Dealer Information Network will automatically become Digital Information Network subscribers and begin receiving BLI's test reports for all product categories, in addition to the Digital Imaging Review newsletter and comprehensive specifications.

What's more, the cost of this new service, at $725, is less than the combined cost of the individual services, and current subscribers will be able to renew their subscriptions at a $50 discount and pay $675.
