Breakthrough filtration system

Office World News, Oct 1999

HIALEAH, FL-Warren Technology is has introduced a breakthrough air filtration product designed for use in commercial buildings to improve indoor air quality. The UNI GUARD high efficiency individual room filtration system removes airborne contaminants through the use of patented Valid Air high performance ceiling diffusers with built-in Filtrete technology from 3M. This system can be used to improve indoor air quality in commercial office buildings, hospitals, professional buildings, day care centers, nursing homes, and government buildings.

The UNI-GUARD system filters conditioned air inside the ceiling air vent before it enters a room or office to protect building occupants from harmful airborne contaminants. This unique filtration system offers selective room by room filtration to accommodate individuals with IAQ comfort complaints. Individuals with asthma, allergies, or health concerns can benefit greatly by this new air filtration system.

The UNI-GUARD system holds several advantages over portable room air cleaners or ceiling mounted air cleaners which are expensive and noisy and require power to operate. These types of air cleaners operate independently of the air conditioning system and filter contaminated air only after it has already entered the space.

Adding UNIGUARD units to existing air conditioning systems will also increase the filtration efficiency of the entire system. Units can be installed simply by removing the existing ceiling air vent and re-attaching the ductwork connection to the UNI GUARD unit.

The UNI-GUARD units are available in 2' x 2' and 2' x 4' ceiling modules for installation in standard t-bar ceilings. Activated carbon filters and zeolite filters are also available for odor control. Suggested retail price is $99.00 for the standard 2' x 2' UNI GUARD unit.
