Minolta, Sir Speedy agreement

RAMSEY, NJ-Minolta's Office Systems Division and Sir Speedy announced they have signed a national sales agreement for the purchase and lease of printers and copiers. The oneyear agreement includes significant pricing and service advantages for Sir Speedy franchise owners.
Bud Murphy, senior vice president and general manager, Office Systems Sales and Marketing Division, Minolta, said, "This national sales agreement allows Minolta to help Sir Speedy maintain quality standards throughout their nationwide network of franchises, while supporting them with promotional prices for Minolta printers and copiers."
According to Karl Post, assistant vice president, strategic development, Sir Speedy, "Our franchise owners across the country are delighted with this sales agreement because it assures them quality equipment, offers reduced service and maintenance costs, and is backed by a Minolta guarantee of satisfaction."
The newly signed agreement covers Minolta's new MicroPress Cluster Printing System, a digital system designed for production printing of both black and white and color documents. It also includes Minolta's highspeed digital black and white copiers: the DiALTA Di520 and the Di620, which was named "Digital Copier of the Year" in the 14th Annual Marketing Research Consultants Dealer Survey. In addition, the contract covers Minolta's CF Series of color products: the networkable CF91 0 digital color printer/copier and CF911P full color laser printer.
Sir Speedy, headquartered in Mission Viejo, CA, is the world's largest and most successful franchisor of printing, copying, and digital networking centers. The 31-year-old company exceeded $400 million in network sales in 1998 for a record sixth straight year.
