Sirius & IBM establish dedicated services practice

SAN ANTONIO, TX-Sirius Computer Solutions has formed a dedicated services practice around IBM e-business technology. This practice will focus on providing multiple sourced applications for mid-sized customers with 100 to 1,000 employees. Sirius, utilizing IBM's e-business Application Framework technologies, will build a practice as an ebusiness solutions provider that will focus specifically on three primary areas: providing e-business-applications, continuous/high availability solutions, andSiebel's Customer Relationship Management solution.
Sirius' e-business services practice, which will be headquartered in the company's Dallas, TX facility, will leverage Sirius' existing IBM platform expertise and will provide products and services for IBM WebSphere Application Server, VisualAge for Java, DB2 Universal Database, MQSeries, Tivoli SecureWay, Lotus Domino, and IBM HACMP Sirius' leading edge solutions will also include Lakeview Technology MIMIX and Tivoli Storage Management (CRM) solutions.
"This dedicated practice will allow Sirius to provide a complete package of hardware, software, and service solutions for our large customer base," said Muditha Karuntileka, senior vice presi-- dent of sales for Sirius. "The combination of IBM's technology. and Sirius' skill and expertise -in -servicing this market will certainly enhance our customers competitive edge in today's fast-paced economy."
