Excluding the abnormally high media expenditures exhibited in 1996, the office furniture industry has done little in the way of promotion over the past few years. With demand for office furniture so high, little has been needed in the way of promotion. In recent years, many office furniture manufacturers have discovered how the Internet can play a major role in the success of their business.

The consensus is that the office furniture industry is in good shape, and it should continue to prosper with many new designs and products hitting the market in the next few years.
