HandyTrac doubles production facility

BRADENTON, FL-HandyTrac Systems has doubled the size of its key control production facility to accommodate increased orders and anticipated future demand of its multi-housing customers. The company has devoted more than 6,000 square feet for the production and distribution of its key control system. Previously, the production department occupied approximately 2,500 square feet within the company's headquarters. The expansion includes an assembly line; QA testing; data entry; service; offices; and workstations for more than 25 employees.

"The expansion is a result of increased demand," stated John Lie-Nielsen, CEO, HandyTrac. "Apartment owners want a convenient and reliable system that provides secured access to their resident's keys. Our key control system has proven to provide the high level of security they need with the computerized reporting functionality and affordability they want."

Chicago Group Structures for Growth

TAMPA, FL-Global Imaging Systems' Chicago Group has completed its structuring for growth. Global president and CEO, Tom Johnson called the effort, "a marriage of two strong companies which will continue their approach to the Chicago metropolitan market." The group has nine offices located throughout the area.

Mike Elrod has been appointed president of Distinctive Business Products and Frank Gaspari, president of Column Office Equipment, has assumed the additional duties as president of the Chicago Group.
